Interactions...: Main listed interaction is between Delsym (dextromethorphan, cough suppressant) & Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) XR (dextroamphetamine/amphetamine); there is a theoretical increase in risk for serotonin syndrome (fever, sweating, fast heart rate, diarrhea, confusion, muscle rigidity) from Delsym taken with Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) XR. Unless also taking other serotonergic meds (for migraine, mood, pain, other), NOT likely to occur.
