So what are the symptoms of diverticulitis?

Diverticulitis: Most people develop colon diverticuli (outpouchings of the wall of the bowel) as they age. When these become inflamed it is called diverticulitis and can produce pain, diarrhea, sometimes blood in the stools.

Pain: Abdominal pain, usually in the left lower corner is the most common symptom. This can be accompanied by low back pain, fevers, chills sweats, nausea, and vomiting.

Belly pain and fever: Belly pain, especially in the left lower part of the abdomen, and fever.

The symptoms of Diverticulitis include:: Left lower abdominal pain, Fever, Abdominal bloating, Constipation, Rectal bleeding, Abdominal pain, Diarrhea, Palpable abdominal mass.

Abdominal pain : Diverticulitis, an infection or inflammation of small pouches in the lining of the bowel , especially the large intestine , causes fairly severe abdominal pain esp on the lower left side , fever, nausea ,blood in stool , constipation and occasional diarrhea .Complications include abscess, blockage of the bowel from scarring ,or a fistula , with another organ or peritonitis from a burst pouch
