Maybe pseudotumor : In light of probable normal imaging studies to rule out vascular malformations, pseudotumor cerebri is a possibility. Patients often complain of a whooshing sound in the ear. It can be associated with recent weight gain, birth control pills, tetracycline pills etc. Diagnosis is by spinal tap. Your neurologist should be able to help you. An eye doctor can look for nerve swelling. Good luck!
