Injury of kidneys: When someone is exposed to blunt force over the mid back the underlying kidney could get bruised. Also if sharp injury occurs from a sharp object penetrating the kidney like a knife or a broken rib the kidney gets a laceration. These are examples of renal trauma.

The question I first ask, will a mri show damage to the maxillary v2 nerve. I didnt ask what caused the damage. If there is damage to the nerve I think I know the cause ( facial trauma). Bob?
