i recently took up tennis. occasionally when i serve, i feel a pop under my right scapula, like a tendon popping over a know in a bone. what is that?

Bursa: Most subscapular popping is an inflamed bursitis. Occasionally one has a scapular tumor that rubs on the ribs. Have this checked out by an orthoaedic surgeon.
