No: Cancer patients can not be good organ donors as their body organs often have cancer cells floating around..

A good question: This question is tricky! for instance, if you die from metastatic cancer that would preclude you from donating organs. However, if you have a very distant history of bone cancer say at age 10 and you get in a motorcycle accident at age 40 it is possible that you could donate.
