Adrenaline: I dont know what you mean by "sick" but when we are under stress or have a fever, the body produces adrenaline which makes the heart beat stronger + louder, like after we finish sprinting or climbing a hill. By itself the awareness of heartbeat is not a bad sign unless the rate is unexpectedly fast (like > 110-120 a minute) or irregular. But there is still the question of why you feel sick.
