Yes: Some cases of fracture femurs have being reported on patients taken bisphosphonates(fosamax (alendronate) is one of them)however other conditions such as osteoporosis and taken glucocorticoids are contributory factors.Ethiology of this fractures is unknown.You could have prodomal symptoms such as bone pain before the bone breaks.
