Possible not likely: Sensation on the face comes from the trigeminal nerve; each side of the brain gives rise to one of these, for the left and right sides of the face. Inflammation, infection, or pressure on the nerve or its ganglion are more common causes of abnormal sensations on the face, but in rare cases a tumor can do this too. See your doctor for a neurological referral asap.
