Very rare: There are well-documented cases of babies born with brain tumors that formed while they were in the womb, but this is extremely rare.

Not always fatal: Fetal brain tumors quite rare. In series reported of 18 cases were benign teratomas and chorod plexus tumors. 12 of 18 alive, 9 normal, 3 mildly delayed.
