Depends: This would depend on the nature of the headaches. If incisional pain or scalp pain, this is not unusual as there are many nerves that are cut as the scalp is incised. This may lead to scalp neuromas which most often subside over time. If there are severe headaches within-a pressure sensation, this suggests an intracranial process. For example, if a brain tumor, you need to worry about expansion.
