PTSD, BIPOLAR, BPD: All conditions share severe anxiety, insomnia, mood swings, impulsivity etc therefore the actual symptoms dont help in the diagnosis. The most valuable piece of information is the natural history of the disease. Bpd patient have history of trauma or abuse early in life like sexual, verbal and physical. Depending on the severity of the trauma ptsd. Therefore all 3 can co-exist. One drug can treat 3.
