I'm wondering why are women much more prone to borderline personality disorder then men?

Women hurt in childh: There are many theories for the calls of borderline personality disorder, ranging from psychological and biological. One thing seems to be clear however, and that is as a society we are more likely to see girls sexually abused more than boys. Many men with borderline personality disorder are labeled criminals and sociopaths. It seems very trendy to label women as borderline and quite often their underlying antisocial personality disorder is simply overlooked. We also incarcerate far more men than women so that the statistics may be shifted towards making it appear that more women are borderline.
