Why would ultrasound tech look at bladder and kidneys during pelvic ultrasound? radiologist didn't come i after the scan?

See below: What the tech looks at depends on the ordering physician.If they find something suspicious, they can scan other parts of the abdomen, since the pelvic organs are close to the bladder and ureters ie the tubes, this may be the reason.
