Unlikely : Narcolepsy and depression are 2 very different diagnoses. Narcolepsy consists of sudden attacks of sleepiness that occur in unusual circumstances (e.g. Driving). In some cases, sudden drop attacks that occur with emotional triggers (e.g. Falling to the ground when laughing), hallucinations when falling asleep or getting out of bed and feeling "paralyzed" for a few minutes after waking up may occur.
