Hard to say: Hard t osay but narcolepsy cna be diagnosed with blood testing and a type of sleep study called mslt.

Yes, this is possibl: Please see a sleep specialist. Narcolepsy is often triggered by a trauma that leads to ptsd and/or depression. The narcolepsy can easily be overlooked, especially because of its rarity. A sleep specialist will run the tests consisting of an overnight sleep study to rule out sleep apnea and a daytime multiple sleep latency test to confirm the narcolepsy.
