Antibiotics: Antibiotics are tested in the laboratory to see whether the bacteria isolated from a patient is sensitive to that drugs at concentrations achievable in the body or the site of infection. This has no relationship to whether someone may be allergic to that drug, and allergy is not an indication of bacterial resistance, nor is resistance a predictor of allergy.

Yes: But they are two different issues. Allergic means that your body has developed an immune or allergic reaction to the antibiotic. Resistance means that the bacteria have become resistant to the antibiotic.
