Depends: How to take hormones for peri menopause somewhat depends on the symptoms. Most women are having hot flashes and night sweats, caused by lower estrogen levels, so taking estrogen daily is better. The Progesterone is to balance the effect of estrogen on the uterus. For a woman with periods taking Progesterone cyclically is better. Also it's a little better for breasts to take cyclically.
