I've had a migraine for 48hours now and i have tried percocet which was prescribed by the er doctor but its not helping. is there anything else i do?

Depends on how often: If you suffer from a lot of migranes than you should see a neurologist. If not, try alternating the Percocet with 800 mg Motrin and stay in a quiet and dark room until it resolves. There are also medications that are specific for migraines. Caffeine also helps by relaxing the muscles in the arterial walls and thus improving blood flow to the area of the brain that is causing the pain.Feel better!

Consider hypnosis: I can't address the medicines, but have used hypnosis with people who suffer from migraines who want to reduce the amount of meds they take. Surely seek medical consult in addition to hypnosis.
