What can i do to help my 11 year old daughter go to sleep?

Nothing: The more you try to help her, the worse it will become. All physiological processes like sleep, eating, urinating and bowel activity are under the control of each of us. Your job is to provide the bed, the food and the toilet but not to supervise at the age of 11 years. That was all done in infancy.

Encourage routine : An 11yo should have a night ritual that promotes relaxation and rest.It helps to exclude action tv shows for the hour prior to bed, and no tv in the room.If possible, evening bathing and body maintenance activities as a wind down can help. If the kid likes to read, it offers a chance to do a sedentary behavior before turning off the lights.
