A member asked:

My 2 year old daughter refuses to sleep in her room/bed. she only wants to sleep on the couch, this happened out of the blue, what do i do to get her back into her bed and why would this happen?

Many reasons/common: at 2: bad dream, change in routine, separation anxiety, to name a few. Be committed and firm about the bed. Instead of walking her back to the bedroom when she comes out, tell her that if she stays in her room you will come back and check on her and tuck her in again. In other words, reward her for staying in her room. Lenghthen the time in between returns. First time, you may have to stay.
