Yes: There are many causes of airway noise; most occur on inspiration and are caused by some type of narrowing of the airway that results in more rapid airflow and/or air turbulence. Surgical correction depends on the site and type of structural abnormality (or abnormalities) that might be found that contribute to this phenomenon. All surgical are associated with potential risks and complications.

Medication, too: You may consider a nasal steroid. The whistle is due to relatively turbulent flow through your ear. You can reduce some of the turbulent flow with a nasal steroid that can help decongest some swelling within the nasal cavity. If that does not work, you can undergo a septoplasty or a turbinate reduction procedure. An ENT does these procedures.

Septal Perforation?: Another possibility could be a septal perforation or hole in your septum. May want to see an ENT to help figure out what is going on.
