Hard to do: Manipulating the cycle, late in the cycle, is difficult- or impossible. Best to plan a few months in advance and use hormonal contraception to alter the bleeding dates. Any hormones you tried now could delay the cycle or just lead to irregular bleeding for the next month. Good luck.

Birthcontrol pills: See your doc for a prescription for combination estrogen/progesterone (pill/patch or vaginal ring), this will postpone or even skip a period safely. Your doc will want to see you to make sure this is a safe decision for you and discuss how to do that exactly.
