Need not to worry: menses in teenagers can sometimes happen every 20 days rather than the typical 28-30 days so I won't necessarily call it major change in events however if other changes take place such as more pain or more flow happen (or skipping months for that matter), then you should alert your physician to check out your pubertal hormones namely your LH/FSH/prolactin and androgens in addition to your thyroid
