Soft diet: Soft diet for the first few days after the extraction. Avoid spicy chewy and crunchy foods, like chips. The oral surgeon will give you more detailed instructions abou what to do after the wisdom tooth extractions.

Beware of numbness: You can eat whatever you are comfortable with as long as the anesthesia has worn off. If you eat before it does, you run the risk of biting your tongue or lips. Right after the extractions, you dont want to do anything to dislodge the blood clots that form. Avoid hot or cold foods, and dont drink through a straw.
