Probably not: Magnesium peroxide releases oxygen slowly in contact with atmospheric moisture and used to regenerate contaminated soils and lakes. It releases oxygen slowly in agricultural applications. It is used as a disinfectant in cosmetics, detergents, toothpaste and pharmaceuticals. There are oral forms, not subject to fda approval and not proven to be therapeutically helpful. Use at your own discretion.

Don't ingest.: Dr raff already did an excellent job of discussing what magnesium peroxide is. It should not be ingested. Ingestion can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain & bloating, belching & oral irritation.
