Possible: You can absorb magnesium from the bath and oral Magnesium at 800mg is a maximum amount to take. I think your assessment is correct. Hold off on the magnesium and see what happens.

A 44-year-old member asked:

Are aspirin, acetaminophen and ibuprofen equally good at preventing heart attacks?

No: Heart attacks are typically a result of platelets sticking together and blocking an artery in the heart. Aspirin blocks the platelets ability to stick together decreasing the chance that a blockage (heart attack) will occur. For this reason, Aspirin is one of the most effective medicines ever discovered for the prevention of heart attacks. Neither tylenol (acetaminophen) or Ibuprofen has this effect.

I got the Depo-Provera shot nov.2, a few days after my period, and had unprotected sex nov.5, 6, 7 started spotting dec 3 and it hasnt stopped.Could I be pregnant?

Possible / unlikely: If you were having monthly cycles before you got the shot, you should not have ovulated by then time you were sexually active. But you may have ovulated by about a week later - giving a remote chance that there would still be viable sperm around to fertilize an egg. You do need to take a pregnancy test. The spotting is likely due to the shot - about 70% of women will have spotting after the shot.
A 24-year-old member asked:

I have been getting tingling in my foot for about 2 days now and now really bad pains in my right arm and neck.. Am I having a mild heart attack?

No: Your symptoms do not suggest a heart problem. The arm and neck pain sounds musculoskeletal, perhaps a pinched nerve in the neck. The foot problem could also be irritation of a nerve in teh leg. You would need an examination to pinpoint the problem.
A member asked:

My brother has a pe and a mass on lung with thyroid nodules. Never smoked. He is hospital 5 days INR still 1.1. Cat scan says possiable cancer. How will we know for sure ?

Biopsy when stable: The current studies suggest that there may be a cancer. The source could be the lung or thyroid. This could also be benign, but with the pe it will need further workup. After the pe is stabilized a biopsy is the only way to know.

Had anal sex the day I ovulated. Was on birth control and used condom. Condom broke so took Plan B 5 hours after. Could I still be pregnant?

Depends: During sexual activity there are many points when sperm containing sexual fluids can leak & contaminate fingers or end up at your vaginal opening apart from the main event. If none of this fluid had access to your vagina, you can't get pregnant from sex using an alternative site.
