Referred pain: When we sense pain, sometimes we will feel it in a different area of our body than the source of the pain. Like when a person has a heart attack, the person may feel pain in the jaw or left arm. Same is true with your uterus. Women will feel cramps in their buttocks, thighs, back and even in their chest. The endo may increase your pain, but doesnt have anything to do as to where it is referre.

Nerves: Usually when endometriosis is in the front part of the uterus and ovaries and close the bladder, the pain may radiate towards the front part pf the thigh. It's just the way the nerves are connected in the body.
