Yes..: ..But no different than in your home country. Surgery is usually the first and, sometimes, only treatment for colon and small bowel cancer. Sometimes, depending on the type and location, pre op radiation and/or chemo may be used. Post op chemo or radiation might be needed . Good luck.

Yes & Australia too!: From the history here its not clear that you do have cancer. Is it possible that they simply discovered polyps during your colonoscopy? These are considered precancerous and are the reason for most colonoscopies. Removing polyps regularly prevents them from developing into cancer. If you do have colon cancer i'd expect you would have had a ct scan and surgery right away. See any oncologist soon.

Stage-dependent trea: Here in us we treat colon cancer acording stages. Stage i need only surgery; stage 2 may need chemo or just surgery, depending on some pathology features; stage 3 needs 6 months chemo; stage 4 needs ongoing chemo because it is not curable; besides chemotherapy, we (some clinics) will consider integrative medicine.
