A member asked:

I ate some smoked salmon at a restaurant i'm 16 weeks pregnant, is it safe to eat?

You are fine: We discourage raw fish for sure. As long as the fish was properly handled and prepared, which should be the case at a restaurant, then it should be fine. We always worry about under cooked meat including fish.
