Bbq: Yes, you can eat barbecued food when you're pregnant, as long as any meat or fish that you eat is thoroughly cooked. The trick is to make sure to handle food properly when it is raw and before being barbecued.

Yes, if well cooked.: It is safe, as long as it is thoroughly cooked. If the meat is not cooked well, you may get food poisoning with diarrhea, vomiting and abdominal pain. When you're pregnant, you may be more susceptible to food poisoning. If you get dehydrated, that may cause cramps and can affect the baby. In addition, avoid salt and spices / dressings / sauces that contain a lot of salt.
