Anxiety: This should be discussed with the docs who know you. Anxiety disorder can be worked on with experienced personnel.

Xanax (alprazolam): Xanax (alprazolam) produces tolerance -- you gradually need higher doses for the same effect. Also, when your xanax (alprazolam) level decreases overnight, you can get inter-dose withdrawal symptoms (like shakiness & heart racing). Please discuss this with your doctors -- these issues make xanax (alprazolam) not a good long-term option for anxiety, even though it's potent. There are excellent talk therapies plus other meds.
