Are there alternative therapies for concussion?

Alt to what?: A diagnosed concussion doesn't need any specific therapy... Mostly rest! it's common to want to be active again, but a blow to the head (hard enough to cause altered mental status but not necessarily unconsciousness) has long-lasting effects on the neurons.

Rest: Once you have ruled out any internal trauma like a cerebral hemorrhage the best treatment for a concussion is rest.
