A member asked:

Changed doctor and have taken calcium d but new doctor wants me to have a consultation could he stop me taking it had no tests while on calcium

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Calcium: I doubt that your new doctor would object to you taking a calcium d supplement as long as your not taking excessive amounts. Be honest with your new doctor. If you have a mineral/vitamin analysis you will know exactly where you stand. You don't have to be deficient in calcium or d to take a supplement for preventive reasons. Best wishes.
