Artery.: Veins do not pulsate, but arteries do. A vein positioned over or next to an artery may look like it is pulsating because of the transmitter arterial pulsation. Arteries normally pulsate and sometimes this is more prominent than other times. Most of the time this is normal. You may want to see a vascular surgeon for an evaluation.
