A member asked:

It feels like a vein or bubble is pulsing with my heart in the back of my head where my neck ends and head starts, although i cant feel it with my fingers. its been happening a lot. what could this be?

If the pulsation is in synchrony with your pulse, it must be the occipital artery that's causing the symptom. It could be from variations in your blood pressure or from tension in those neck muscles. Make sure that you don't have sustained high blood pressure by having it checked. If you don't have hypertension, I doubt you have a serious issue. See your MD as needed though.
