Other than death?: As blood is lost, the heart rate increases, then blood pressure starts to drop, then subject becomes progressively confused and short of breath until loses consciousness. Shock worsens from inadequate tissue perfusion. Death usually due to heart rhythm failure and lack of oxygen to tissues.
