Depends:: Large baby, abnormal lie, placenta previa, placental abruption, or an illness in the mother can increase the blood loss many fold.

200 - 500 ml: In pregnancy, the body prepares to lose up to half a liter of blood during a normal delivery. This is increased if there are lacerations, poor uterine tone, or underlying blood disorders. Another reason to deliver in a hospital with qualified personnel & emergency medications. Better safe than sorry.
