Depends: Diabetic retinopathy is a spectrum and can be reversed in some circumstances. Most importantly treatment or monitoring by your retinal specialist is important to maintain the vision that you already have.

Not sure: Blurry vision is usually due to bleeding, macular edema, or loss of blood supply to the macula. Your prognosis depends on which one of these it is. Treatment options are in-office laser, intraocular injections, and vitrectomy surgery, depending on the severity. Laser is proven to reduce the risk of vision loss, but may not actually improve vision. Continue to follow up with your eyemd.
