See doctor....: The most common cause of coughing blood is bronchitis but malignancy must always be ruled out so this symptom must always be evaluated by a doctor. If you are also short of breath, go to the er. If you are a smoker, you need to quit and your doctor can help with this, too. You will likely need eval by a lung doctor. See your doctor asap.
