Probable aphthous: Aphthous ulcers are painful shallow white to slightly yellow ulcers with a red rim that form on mouth lining that has no underlying bone such as tongue, palate, tonsils. They last 7-10 days then resolve. Not sure the exact cause but commonly activated by stress. May also be tonsil exudate.
