Strep throat: The antibiotics should be starting to kick in. If your symptoms persist, you might consider checking in with your physician.

If you aren't better: within 5-7 days you should return to your physician. If you develop a high fever that doesn't go away or if you continue to have blisters and a severe sore throat despite antibiotics, you need to be reassessed. If you develop a rash on the amoxicillin call your doctor right away. Sometimes mono can masquerade as strep, and there are other viral infections that cause blisters. So if not better C MD
