Little to worry abou: If they are swollen painless white bumps on the back of your tongue, they may be swollen papillae that are part of your tongue, or normal lymphoid tissue present in your adenoids and tonsils. If you are at all concerned, ask your doctor.

SEE YOUR DENTIST NOW: Can you scrape them off? Do they release pus? Are they hard or squishy? PLEASE make an appointment to see a dentist to make sure it is not oral cancer. That is the worst case scenario, but still possible if NOT painless.
