Hypopitutarism: Hypopitutarism or deficiency in pituatary hormones, one or more.Pituatary gland is located at the base of the brain.It secrets many hormones including growth hormone, thyroid stimulating hormone, acth, anti diuretic hormone and others.It may have deficiency of one or more or all of its hormone which are essential and trestment consists of replacing all deficient hormones all life.Prognosis is good.
