I was told i had an anteverted uterus but then u/s said it was anteverted. then another u/s said retroverted. no fibroids, pid, etc. what caused this?

Your uterus: Is ether retroverted or anteverted. A retroverted uterus is a uterus that is tilted backward and it is a normal variations of the angle of the uterus. It will not cause any difficulty conceiving. It is the same as being left handed or right handed. It is relatively easy to diagnosed so i'm not sure why you received conflicting reports.

Normal: The uterus can move around quite a bit in some women. Anteverted just means tilted forward, retrovertered means tilted backward.
