Pessary: If you had a posterior and anterior repair in may and the bulge is bothering you, a non surgical option would be a pessary. Sadly, posterior/anterior repairs don't have the outcomes that many women think they will have, going into surgery. My friend had anterior repair and it failed soon after surgery too. It's very frustrating. You can always get a 2nd opinion from another doctor. Good luck!

That really should: Not happen esp so soon, if the surg was done correctly and you have done nothing strange to cause that, kagel exercises will not hurt and and u want to avoid constipation or staining but u may end up needed another surgery if it gets worse which hopefully it will not.

Exam: First you need to know what is happening. See your doctor for an exam. If you feel a bulge at the opening of the vagina, then there probably is something prolapsing again. Unfortunately that does happen.

Here are some...: The outcome of surgery depends on the existing health state of pelvic floor muscles and the proficiency of surgical skill, which widely vary among individual patients and surgeon. Besides, as time goes by, undesirable aging effects continue to accumulate leading to unexpected muscle weakness and variable degree of timing of recurrence. So, just watch and see with using pessary, maintaining health.
