Heavy bleeding( a pad an hour) and severe pain 3 weeks after bladder prolapse surgery from lifting a bookcase.6 days ago. the bleeding wasnt constant until yesterday. the er dr said the bleeding is from the exam. what can i do at home for this?

Call surgeon now!: Please call your surgeon now! A pad an hour of bleeding is not from an "exam." If you are still bleeding a pad an hour and cannot reach your surgeon, go back to the ER. I would insist on a surgical consult in the ER if the ER doc does not give you a satisfactory explanation or do appropriate lab work or other studies.

Diagnosed with Pelvic Organ Prolapse. Does POP cause heavy bleeding? Every now and then my cycle will be extremely heavy, but I'm not sure if it's that or the prolapse. They believe it's a bladder prolapse not sure if that helps?
