Allergy control: Bronchitis and similar illnesses are commonly associated to not well controlled respiratory allergic disease. Swelling and increased secretions secondary to allergy produce bronchitis symptoms which might or might not get secondarily infected. Identifying allergens, reducing exposure to them if present and measures to control allergy symptoms reduce the number of bronchitis episodes.
