Sometimes i get this weird buzzing or popping sound inside my head (almost like pop-rocks candy) and usually when i'm lying down. what is it?

Water in ears.: It could be caused by water in ones ear canals. Less likely in a 16 year old would be an inner ear or eustachian tube origin. Least common would be an auditory nerve problem. This symptom is not likely to be due to a problem in ones brain.
