Other than meds: Other meds that can help with anxiety including wellbutrin, zoloft, and paxil (paroxetine). But other effective approaches including cognitive-behavioral therapy, relaxation techniques, deep breathing, energy psychology, meditation, yoga, etc. Generally medication is not enough, so consider seeing a therapist qualified in treating anxiety.

See a pro.: If you have anxiety, you can help yourself by finding out what causes it. Learn progressive relaxation techniques and deep breathing exercises which have all shown to help. There are self help books which can also prove helpful you can search on amazon for. See a counselor/therapist can be helpful. Another perspective: Anxiety is a physiological state (manifest as a psychological state). To help yourself, ask: when don't I have anxiety? At those times (and there will be some) your biology is not active. Why? What's going on then (or not going on)? To choices: "constitutional" (lifelong tendency), "reactive" (to your beliefs and circumstances). Overall management depends on which is fundamental for you.
